Supervisory Skills Training (2011-08-29 14:19:56)
 KPRL sponsored 24 members of staff to attend a Supervisory Training at Nyali Beach Hotel from 8th to 11th August, 2011. The training targeted members of staff who had been promoted and future supervisors within their various departments as part of KPRL staff development.
The training was opened up by William Murunga, KPRL’s Manager for Instruments and Electrical Engineering. He welcome the participants and linked KPRL vision, mission and objectives to that of staff development. He also reiterated on the profoundness by Management on KPRL staff Training programmes for members of staff and urged participants to put in practice the acquired skills from the training.
The facilitator from Tricepts began by gathering members expectations from the training and how well they intended to fulfill those expectations. They emphasized on effective communication process, leadership skills, conflict resolutions, delegation process and most important how supervisors bridge the gap between Management and lower cadre staff
