The International Firefighters Day celebrations were held on 3rd May 2023 in Shika Adabu Fire Station in Likoni constituency and brought together all emergency responders, supporters, and stakeholders. KPRL was represented
The event was held on 18th January 2023 at the KPRL Estate Hall in conjunction with Chiromo Hospital which saw 75 adolescents, teenagers, and young adults participate
The CS, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Davis Chirchir, and the PS, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Mohammed Liban visited KPRL on 19th and 20th December 2022
KPRL played its part fully by facilitating the planting of more than 200 trees by employees and contractors at its Changamwe site. The exercise was spearheaded by the Ag. CEO
KPRL Pension Trust Limited unveiled its new Vision, Mission, Values, Motto slogan, and Mortgage scheme on Thursday 1st September 2022 to the applause of members.
Thirty Five (35) members of staff and contractors on site were exposed to hands-on hydrocarbon fire suppression using different types of fire extinguishers
Thirty (30) members of staff and contractors on site were taken through thorough hands-on First Aid training by a team from The Kenya Red Cross Society
The COVID-19 vaccination and booster jab exercise was done in partnership with our Medical service provider Bomu Hospital where Fifty Eight (58) employees were administered as KPRL continues to enforce internal controls
The on-boarding of new operators is expected to lead to a reduction in overtime as well as providing an additional pool of skilled operators for expected projects. This training will enable the operators to perform their duties in an effective and efficient manner in line with KPRL’s Operations Procedures
What We Do
The main service provided by the refinery was crude oil refining. Refinery operations stopped in September 2013.
We certify or verify if a particular oil product or products meet the stipulated standards.
We have an efficient pipeline network and truck loading facilities for oil products transfer.
